When all of our friends are dead and just a memory and we're side by side, it's always been just you and me, for all to see.

Soooooooooo lazy to blog about HK plus cause the pics are on my hard drive, so it's time for a little pause.

Here's all the stuff that happened right after the trip ;)

So yeah, after all the travelling, finally got a chance to pick my lazy ass up to go searching for a job.(I swear, it's so hard to find a good-paying part-time job nowadays)

Was considering a cafe job with Wanting but arghhh the pay was quite low $6-6.50/h so we ended up ditching the walk-in interview and went to eat and talk instead hahaha this woman is so full of nonsense.

Then the next day, Weili and I went down for some interview at the CPF building as a packer or something in the East area and the FUNNIEST SHIT HAPPENED. Apparently, when we arrived at the job interview room, the guy looked damn puzzled and was enquiring "You are???". I mean, in such a situation, you would reply "Oh, I'm (name)" but she ended up replying "Looking for a job" and so I ended up laughing the whole time when we were filling up the documents.

The next thing that happened was when the guy came to collect our particulars and then he started saying how he actually expected two guys to show up cause he thought Weili was a guy's name so yaaaaa, turns out that the darn job is for guys only but because they wanted to avoid getting in trouble for sexual discrimination, they left out the part where they wanted males only on gumtree. Tough luck man, at that moment we were both quite dejected already cause like everyone working already but we were still unemployed HAHA.

Anyway, went to Bastille's concert right after meeting her, cause my aunt gave me her free tickets. Not a huge fan of theirs, so aiya, just went there to soak up the atmosphere.

Went with these crazy fellows.

Was quite close to the stage, at around the third row mark. In the beginning, Bastille was performing all their lesser-known songs so I was just swaying with the crowd and just watching them while some part of me felt sad, thinking oh man, if only I was this close to the stage last year when The 1975 came to perform at the exact location, organised by the exact same organiser. That night was just magical but the only downside was that I was so far away from the stage arghh. Hahaha and then halfway through WT just told me just pretend that it's them performing instead of Bastille on the stage and that did help a little, otherwise, we just simply felt like outsiders, totally unlike all the pumped up fans.

But I have to admit, Bastille was really good live, though we were having doubts if Dan was really exercising his vocal chords or was he lip-syncing.

this was exactly what happened when The 1975 performed "Me" a year ago, oh the feels...

Thank y'all for a great night!

Okkkkkkkkkkkkk time to head out to work(SIAN, working on a Sunday night), will continue another day.
