I got a little bit longer

"Fold the paper into half, and then fold it into another, and another. Ok, now open the paper up and you'll see 8 squares, and each square represents 10 years of your life. Now tear away the years that have already gone by. See ah, now you guys got 6 squares left but look at mine, I'm only left with 4. I'm half dead already!"

*class bursts into laughter*

"Why am I telling you all this?? Time flies in a blink of an eye, so you young people should fill up each square with as many achievements as possible. Square number 3: get married, buy a house, have kids. Square number 4: Get promoted, spend more time with your family etc. Make sure you don't waste your years away!"

Just a snippet of an activity that Dr Koh conducted during Organisational Behaviour seminar a few weeks back but his words still ring clearly in my head.

I shouldn't be wasting my squares, it's time to start filling them up.
