But for now let's get away, on a Roman holiday

12 Oct

I guess even though our hall's quite ulu, at least it's next to a decent running track.

Happy birthday n00bszxc :)

My bruise is super obvious in this photo sigh.
(I got it from over-zealously running towards my bed to grab some shut-eye but my thigh ended up kissing the bed frame violently.)

So friggin' done with FM presentation. (btw, we were supposed to be "cooler than the water cooler"...which explains the photo hahahaha)

Rushed back to Pasir Ris to bathe before heading to Vivo to meet the rest for HHN5.

After entering USS. Totally can relate to this, Mel's literally dying from fear of being scared to death by humans pretending to be supernatural creatures hah.

Bumped into Amrita and Harsh while queuing for one of the haunted houses :)

Look at our shag faces from joining 498235063456 queues.

The only time where we weren't screaming for our lives was at the shop HAHAH.

Ok la, I think we got our money's worth, we went to 3 haunted houses(Blk 50, MRT and Hell House), the mummy ride, Shrek(OMG LOL I don't even know why HAHAHA), and both Human and Cylon on Battlestar Galactica.

It was scary but wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. HAHAHAHA except for the Hell House, I fking DIED. It was really HELL man, damn hot and all, plus there were life-sized paper effigies that would jump-scare unsuspecting visitors(eg. us). There was also this part where all of us were too scared to move forward cause there were Chinese zombies hanging from the ceiling, and they looked fking realistic, oh gosh. To escape, we had no choice but to lunge forward, even if it meant that our faces and bodies had to make contact with the corpses. I WAS DAMN SCARED LA. Ok kudos to USS, you've really sent shivers down my spine for that particular haunted house.

Ahahahahah thanks Nana and Yiting for being so brave to stand in front to lead our mini choo-choo train, ai ni men duo duo ♥♥♥

HAHAHAH and Esther Chan, you better be thankful that I helped shield you from all the scarers for the entire night, I felt like dying omg.

Anyway, I've learned a trick or two to be less afraid, just start asking the ghosts weird questions like "Are you tired?", "Can you breathe through your costumes?", "Is that a mask or your make-up??" etc literally bomb them with a list of boliao questions and they'll be more confused instead of wanting to scare you. At least that's what I did HAHAHA.

Last resort: Just scream at them to GTFO in a mixture of English, Chinese and Hokkien. It worked 70% of the time HAHAHAH.

Most worth it part was sitting on both rides of Battlestar at night, oh my goodness, the view, the ambience, the adrenaline...is like entirely different from riding them in the day, I can't put them to words, it's a really amazing experience :')
