I feel my colors start to blend with the shore. My yellows turn to gold.

Arrow isn't that great, and neither is The Flash.

Why do people keep insisting that they're the "best tv series" showing on television now????

NamNam Noodle Bar.

Makes me miss Vietnam a lot. Urghhh why is Vietnamese cuisine so ex in Singapore? Back in Hanoi, you could get a decent, piping hot bowl of pho for under SGD$2 but here, a not-so-yummy bowl costs upwards $9.

Having this raging feeling to travel again after seeing hoards of people on vacayyyy on IG. But everyone's so busy and schedules are always clashing.

My workplace. It's funny how I could have so much work piled up and yet I feel bored 95% of the time. I'm doing my work yet I feel so lethargic and un-alive.

The only thing keeping me sane is talking to Yiting, Kathy or the aunty and even so I have to do it discreetly to avoid making too much noise in the silent madhouse.
But it does pack a great view.

Met up with Weili and Zhenyang on Friday for dinner at IKEA. Haven't seen these noobs in forever! Was supposed to meet Wally only but ZY could book out on that day so he came along too.

Met up with Wei mama first at Tamp after an insanely exhausting day of work and we ended up waiting for the IKEA bus for close to 50 mins cause we missed the previous one by a mere 20 seconds or so ):

So both of us ended up exchanging office gossips since she was working an admin job too and constantly complaining about the lengthy time we had to wait for the bus. And the entire time, poor ZY was helping us chope seats HAHAHA.

According to Weili's bizarre logic, a picture will not look good unless it has been slanted at an angle of at least 45 degrees so this one's dedicated to her.

And this too

Being insane is our forte.

$0.50 cheap thrills hehehe

Thankssssss for such a wonderful catch-up session. My beloved Changi Airport overnight crew and Hongkong trip roomies ♥

Don't think I would ever be able to survive the horrendous A level period without these people - worrying about our futures together(there was this point where we were contemplating pursuing a career at McD's), laughing at how we were unable to solve questions(normal people would be panicking and sending out an SOS to their tutors but nope, not us, we'd just be laughing off at our ignorance), napping when we were supposed to be burning the midnight oil at T2 Starbucks, booking tons of consults with teachers at the very end(I still keep my consults timetable as a reminder of that absurd point in my life) and the list goes on and on etc.

Met-up with the crazy foodies again on a journey towards reaching food nirvana.

This time around, it was Dazzling Cafe, a renowned Taiwanese chain that caught Taiwan by storm a couple of years ago. They finally reached the shores of Singapore.

We were told to wait an hour and a half before we would get seated but the guy ended up calling us an hour later so that's good I guess? But still a pretty long wait.

In the meantime... we were watching Star Awards live on Char's phone through Toggle HAHAHA

Busy critiquing the clothes worn by celebrities while trying our best to identify who was who on that little screen heh typical aunties

FOOD IS HERE. We tried their widely raved about Shibuya-style honey toast, so so good. The one in the foreground is their Party in Your Mouth Honey Toast while the one at the back is the Hazelnut Chocolate Honey Toast. We wanted to get the Mango and Coconut one but sadly they ran out ):

The latter was comparably better than Party in Your Mouth, the toast tasted sweeter and I guess the blend of the sauce with the honey toast really worked well, unlike the other one, which felt dry towards the end and was underwhelming.

We paid $45.65 for both dishes which was quite steep but the portions were huge so yeah if you're sharing then this wouldn't burn a hole in your pocket and neither would it add on too much to your waistline heh :)

On our way back home.

Shi Ting was teaching me how to use Snapchat and yeah, I still don't like it.

My first and last ever post on Snapchat.

Why are people still using Snapchat?? It's so 2012. Isn't it like a medium to send nudes or something? And why would I want whatever I post to self-destruct in 24 hours??? What if it's something epic and I want people to be able to see it even if I'm an 80 year old grandma? Or my pictures to be seen for a mere 10 seconds or less until it's forever lost in the abyss of the internet? Unless you're trying to sext. Which is silly. (sorry for the bashing, but that's just my opinion.)

Finally ended our one-month stint at Ocra and all of us decided not to extend our working time there because honestly, it has been driving us crazy. I think this will be the only time in my life where I feel elated to be UNEMPLOYED....again!

Anyway, on the last day, we met up early in the morning to buy donuts for all the full time staffs and cleaning aunty :')

I will miss you, Aunty!!! For always talking to me and constantly asking about how my day was and sharing with me bits of your life when I was doing reception.

At least she made my job seem less boring.

Received our paychecks as well as chocolates on our last day from the manager, aww. She's always so nice and friendly.

Farewell.
