I've been dying to pick up where we both left off

so drained, gonna keep my eye on the prize, and hold on until I can't feel my hands

10 days into the new year and I'm already feeling lifeless.

I need to stop letting work get tangled up with the rest of my life, but it's just devouring every bit of happiness that I'm pursuing.

Why are the hours so goddamn long? 9.30am to 7pm isn't usual, and we're always expected to stay till 9-11PM on days with events. With no OT pay.

Also, this month alone, I have to work 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday. Does that even make sense? And everything repeats itself again two months later.

Honest to God, I was so excited to be working for an up and coming company, but least to say, my expectations fell short.

This isn't what I want to get involved in.

Everyone here is dying and I'm just not ready to sell my soul away completely.

Waiting for a damn miracle to happen. In the meantime, gotta grind my teeth and smile through the pain.
