Had to do ushering duty for Inter-hall cheer comp, thank goodness Amrita was there with me, if not I would have just withered away in boredom.

But things started to get exciting once the competition begin, heh I just passed my duty over to some guy who had to guard the door with me and sat with hall people to catch the action.

Legit have a newfound respect for cheer, like all the somersaults in the air and the lifting and coordination, not an easy feat man!

The genesis of 2016

Thought it was high time I actually posted about actual stuff that happened this year, so here goes...

1 Jan

New Year's Day was spent picnicking like vagabonds along the Singapore River with my favourite hobos. Flaunted my MasterChef skills by cooking pasta for them. HAHA pasta is literally the easiest shit to cook, just boil the pasta, then drizzle some olive oil in another pan, pour in the garlic, and dump in the store-bought pasta sauce (it ain't cheating if you have to use your frying skills ok).

Could only see like 75% of the fireworks thanks to all the tall buildings but it's alright man!

Drinking old cheap bottles of wine, sit talking up all night.

2am visit to GBTB???

We were lying down on the concrete platform, enjoying the pretty view and lights, but the moment we got up to take pictures of the Christmas Wonderland light fixtures, they turned off the lights ):

Still looked magnificent though.

Went back home, bathed, crashed, then woke up again to meet the auntie bimbos for night cycling hahaah.

Can't believe it only took 30 mins to cycle from ECP to MBS???!?!

Hearty dinner at Satay by the Bay

Thank goodness the lights were on after I visited the place like...10 hours after my previous visit.

The wind was quite brutal

Simply like moths to a flame, I guess all humans are attracted to lights too. They literally brighten up our days, and nights too, and make the unknown become known since we're able to see all around us. And who's not relieved to see that light at the end of a tunnel?

Hung out with Yining, Mark & Clement and we ate at Koh grill!!! Back for more ShiokMakis :))))

We got ice-cream and sat next to the fountain reminiscing about our Sem 1 exploits and talking about how we didn't want the new semester to start sigh.

Then we shifted to SB to slack and that was the first time I played Psych omg but sadly this game got boring after a few months of overplay.

7, 8, 9 Jan

Those 3 days felt like the longest 3 days ever, cause I had to return to hall to play Weiqi for IHG, basically WQ is this Chinese game that's...100 times harder than Chinese chess. HAHAHA I can still remember what Aug told me the first time he tried to teach me how to play last year, it is said that computer can completely obliterate a human opponent in a game of Chinese chess but there has yet to be a computer program coded to be able to beat every human or something like that.

Basically, it's really hard, and long, a game literally takes about an hour and a half to like maybe 9 hours to finish.

I had to alternate between umpiring and playing and it was so tiring. Could feel my soul leaving my body during those 3 days.

Coincidence or what???? HAHAH but ok, we did plan our outfits la. Need to dress cui for marketing cause we have a prof that's notorious for favouring guys only, so the advice from most people who had classes with her was for girls to dress as cui as possible and not make eye contact with her so that she won't feel overpowered or something? LOL sounds outrageous but after having close to 10 lessons with her, I can vouch for that. She is that biased against females.

Met Shiting coincidentally on the blue bus so we just decided to do Symmetry at her hall HAHAHAH

OK but first, can I just complain how far Hall 10 is, even from the bus stop??? We had to climb countless flights of stairs, that left me gasping for air.

Was randomly jogging at PRP and suddenly saw this familiar figure on a bike before I realised it was Naddyyyyyy :)))

So she decided to cycle next to me while I ran, talk about pressure HAHAHAH, felt so stressed to increase my speed to match hers but after that we had a good catch-up sesh :))

Celebrated a special bimbo's birthday :)

Ate dinz with ST and MZ before MZ and I dragged her to the bus interchange and blindfolded her all the way to the secret destination.

Hahahaha omg

HAHA so basically we escorted her all the way to the Night Safari and got on the tram with her not knowing about her whereabouts, then we proceeded to remove her blindfold after the vehicle started moving.
