School was a happy occasion cause we got chocolates, sweets and notes from friends

Then we had an optional GP lesson with the adorable Mrs Lee, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh she's super adorable :')

We made her take a picture with us by giving her an excuse that it was Valentine's day hehehehe







Then there was traininggggg

After that, went to have dinner with my two v'day dates Weili and Kengling.

We ate and talked for super long and before we knew it, it was already 10 plus.

Signed up for a 10K race with my sis, aunt and aunt's friend. Before that, I was really nervous and shit, because I didn't train consistently and the max I've ever gone was 5K.

The event was extremely packed man, and honestly, it was super disorganised. There were 2 entrances leading to the Start Line so there was this massive bottleneck man. When the start gun was shot, we had to wait for the crowd to move before we reached the starting line at 3 mins gun time oh goodness man.

But luckily there was a timing chip in the bibs so a more accurate timing could be clocked.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL. It was held at the Marina area but the roads were damn narrow, most of them were ordinary pavements. Other races like Standard Chartered and Shape blocked off entire roads(as in those where cars drive on) while this only had pedestrian roads so it was really crowded. Our arms were constantly brushing against other fellow runners.

But I guess one really good plus point of the race was the scenic view of the route. We ran past the iconic Marina skyline, the Marina Barrage, Gardens By The Bay and on bridges.

Anyway nothing could beat the satisfaction of completing it :)

I kept having evil thoughts of stopping but I kept praying man, like "Dear God, please don't allow me to stop" etc. And luckily I had a great playlist that distracted me from giving in to stopping. AND TIGER BALM. Before leaving the house, I rubbed the cream all over my legs. It really helped to reduce muscle aches after the run.



After passing the Finish Line, I just rapidly gulped down a cup of the best drink ever - water before wolfing down on the banana that they handed out.

Maybe one day I'll be crazy enough to do a half marathon.

heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy haven't posted in ages cause I was busy and lazy. OK, more of busy being lazy.

Yeah so CNY was the usual fun festival, went on a food rampage and dabbled in all sorts of gambling games. OH YES, and I finally learnt how to play mahjong, like properly. Used to always think it was well, plain ol' mahjong, but it's actually really entertaining and it requires a lot of thinking and quick-wittedness. Anyway I lost lots of money but thank goodness my aunt took over my position halfway so I escaped without paying up hehehehe.

It was crazy, we were all waiting for CCA to start so we started doing a series of whacky stuff like eating and chatting in the middle of the field, going around the school to explore 'haunted' places(WE FOUND 2 MORE CREEPY PLACES TO ADD TO OUR LIST YAY), and laughing at the teachers having lohei in the cafe hahahah.

- Anyway, we kind of got inspired by the teachers so we decided to have a class lohei session the next day :D

Here's the story behind this picture: Zhenyang and I were rushing through our pair work experiments so that we could display our test tubes with contents of various colours and snap this pic. Damn siaooooo but hilarious.

- Went to Valhall to buy new floorball sticks with Kengz and Weili on Sat :)))))))

The shop had like tons of sticks and they were all so beautiful *swoons*



Anyway, the shop attendants, 2 angmoh guys and one chinese guy, were really helpful in helping us select the right stick. And they even gave us free coaching so we ended up staying there for 3 hours.

The Swedish(or Finnish) guy successfully converted all 3 of us from righties to lefties. So right now we're using our sticks with our left hand at the bottom of the stick instead, which makes a tremendous difference cause we can whack the ball with more strength now.

We ended up buying the same sticks heh.




This baby cost $150 but it's really worth it (I kept fiddling with the stick once I got home and sometimes I would just stare at it, admiring its beauty HAHAH)

After purchasing our sticks, I had to rush my ass off all the way to Novena Square to collect my race pack. I almost died when I saw the queue, it was so long that I had to queue outside the mall. After 30 mins of queuing, I started to get really hungry and felt like dying but THANK GOODNESS I spotted my sis in front. I immediately called her to make sure it was her and ran like a mad dog towards the front oh goshh. Then hung out with her and her bf for awhile before heading home.


Not sure if I can even complete the race man...

Today (Wednesday)

TODAY WAS A 5 OUT OF 5 DAY :)
Had CCA exhibition so we started by decorating the booth and making floorball stickers.


Stayed back yesterday with a bunch of fballers to paint the bannerrrr

Basically, we just ran around armed with stickers and our sticks and chanting "FLOORBALL...FLOORBALL!"



Then we had training.

After that, Weiz, Kengz and I stayed back to train more with Amelia. Really good session, I think we got the hang of using the leftie sticks now :)

Then left school at 7pm with Hsien and Kengz to get Gongcha :)))
Had a longgg but good chat with Kengz hehe then reached home at 9pm.
Tired but satisfied. Thank you God.
