Monday

It was quite a mundane day I guess, I can't recall anything except for the part before Maths star.

So the thing is, we end at 3pm every Monday but our star program only starts at 5pm, therefore we're free for 2 hours.

Yiting, Esther, Jackie and I just went to lepak at some playground.

It was super shiooook. We were lying on the slides and blasting music. The birds were chirping away and the wind was caressing our faces mmmmmm :)

Really nostalgic, it was just like the lower sec days just that this time round, I'm with different people.

Then we ended up playing this really silly but surprisingly fun reaction game on Jackie's phone.


HAHAHA we look so carefree and youthful ;)


Tuesday

Today was tiring.

However, Chinese lesson was quite interesting. Agnes Teo is actually a really great Chinese teacher, she's always so nice to us (eg. gossiping with us about xxxxxxxx, bringing chocolates to class for us to munch on, giving us ferrero rochers, joking around etc)

No wonder she's the HOD of Chinese.

Anyway, she wanted us to break into groups to watch various Chinese clips from Youtube on our phones. So yea, the videos that we were supposed to watch were so heart wrenching, I was on the verge of breaking into tears.

The first clip was about the sad plight of acid victims. I think it was Indonesia or Cambodia or some other country (my chinese is not that good). So yea, apparently, a bottle of acid sold there costs less than USD$1 there and they're also readily available, hence some sick-minded people actually buy these bottles of acid to throw at people.

The after effect of an acid attack is horrible. The victim's body will be severely deformed, to the point that his/her eyes get burnt until he/she goes blind and in some cases, the victims go deaf too.

One of the victim was only six. Six for goodness sake.

It was so graphic and grisly, and it just shows how lucky we are to be living in a safe haven - Singapore.

Was rummaging through my old stuff and I found all my history and geog notes. Damn, I miss studying humanities.

Miss history lessons with Dora, it's ironic how I used to critisize her for being such a mad woman in the past and now, I'm missing her teaching. She'll always be the cutest teacher ever.


Thursday
Had A level Chinese listening comprehension. I really hope I can pass, since I failed my LC in O levels. Chinese can be one tricky hell of a subject ;( All the similar vocabs with vastly different meanings.

After that, headed to Tamp interchange with Yiting and Jingyi. Went to the library with Yiting and we started flipping through this weird book. Shortly after, I left her to meet up with my dearest Sheryl and Mingzhen :)

Was disappointed when they each brought their poly friends along )': But thank goodness they left soon.

We took bus 81 all the way towards Serangoon and it was torturous omg. Those two bullies were bombarding me with chinese stuff and I had to translate them in order to sit on the bus seat ): My butt was really sore after that.

So, we had dinner at Hot Tomatoes @ nex :)


Talked and talked and fooled around.

Then we took pictures at the rooftop thing hehehehe. It was quite scary at first, because I constantly kept thinking that I was gonna fall into the water.


At the end, took bus 81 again with Mingzhen all the way home and reached home at around nine forty. Really love their company, muackssssss x100


Friday
After school, went for maths learning journey to Changi airport with Yiting, Leona, Jingyi, 3 other j1s and the j2s that took H3 maths.

Something really silly happened between this maths teacher and me, it was so embarrassing I swear I felt damn paiseh.

The trip was alright I guess, we sat at the conference room for a really long time, and I felt like some cool businessman.

HAHAHA damn comfy la the chairs then the 4 of us really felt like sleeping cause the air con temp was just nice too.

It felt more like a geography learning journey man, we were learning about weather patterns and other geog-y stuff.


Drank starbucks after that, the final day of the 1 for 1 promotion. And we made new friends hahahaha.


Had dinner with Yiting and Jingyi at Astons, and then Weili and Vanessa joined us after that. We sat there for like 3 hours or so.

Took bus home with them and I took an hour plus to reach home ): asdfghjkl. I will never take bus 27 ever again.
It was a really lovely night :)


Saturday
Woke up feeling really exhausted.

Was supposed to meet Yiting for breakfast before the Career Symposium but I reached late(and felt terribly guilty).

Instead, we just headed to 7 eleven to grab a bite. AND THEN WE RAN IN THE RAIN. Seriously hahaha always getting caught in silly situations with this Yiting.

By the time we reached the lecture hall, we were pretty much drenched. Sat with her, Zhenyang and Ziying

It was hilarious because all of us had to sing those 80s 90s romantic songs because the presenter requested so. But his presentation was really good, I could relate to what he said so much.

Went for legal services, accountancy and lastly banking.

I think the best was the banking one. Got 2 cute angmohs and the one that was presenting kept making witty jokes :)

After the last breakout session, I rushed to T3 Dunkin' Donuts to do PW with Josephine and Athena. PW is such a brain juice sucker I swear. We're always racking our brains in order to improve on our project. But I'm really blessed to have such nice and hardworking people as group mates :')

Had late lunch at Itacho Sushi with the pee double you people :)


Damn, how do some people take such good shots of food? I always try taking nice shots but they always end up looking so amateur-ish.

Then met up with Kerlin to the econs video.

OMG all of us went on the T3 slide. Damn embarrassing because of all the lil kids... I genuinely thought it was gonna be fun but it sucks. I kept getting stuck on the slide, maybe because I was wearing uniform or something. Anyway I'm never going on it ever, felt so ill at ease.

Did the video editing at Carl's Jr. It's so ridiculous, how a 3 minute video can take like hours to be edited.

Kept laughing because it was so funny.

Quite a lovely day :)

Did you think that I would cry, on the phone?

My joints and calves are still aching from Friday's training ): The result of not doing enough cool down exercises sighzzzzz.

Anyway, YES I finally went for floorball after... one and a half weeks.

I always dread training BUT the thing is, I always get this shiok feeling after it. So ironic, yes.

It's like the soreness and the lactic acid build-up gives a person a kind of satisfaction. And the people are fun to be with too :)

Overall, CCA was guuuuuuud.

Saturday

Went for CIP yesterday, it was quite productive I guess.

We were supposed to help the people at a block of rental flats to sign up for a HealthAssist card.

Was grouped with Jingyi and 2 other people from another class, and we just went around knocking on the residents' doors.

I felt so heartbroken when I saw this elderly man with 2 amputated limbs. He was commenting that the subsidy would not help him much as he visits the polyclinic, not GPs, and that the polyclinic would not accept the card. I really wish there was some other way we could help him but yeaaaah.

On a brighter note, as my group was making our rounds, this cute cat kept following us :>

After CIP, went to eat lunch at Pastamania with S14 hehehehe :)

Sat with Yi Ting, Jingyi, Randall, Zhen Yang and Jackie.

We used up like 2 full bottles of cheese because of Randall. He kept pouring cheese onto his spoon and putting it into his mouth. And he was saying "This is the way of life" HAHAHA.

After that, had to do the Econs video thing with Josephine, Jorene and Kerlin. Then Jackie & Zhenyang tagged along.

Somehow, today seemed much more pleasant than the other Thursdays. I used to feel really sleepy but I guess God has blessed me with an energy boost today. I actually didn't sleep through maths or chem lecture AT ALL!

Had chem star all the way till 6 plus then went to some food bazaar thingy with Yi Ting and Zhen Yang. We actually wanted to go there a few days ago but then we were really indecisive.

OMG I swear it was super awkward because the 3 of us were the only Chinese people there, the entire area was swarming with Muslims. We were feeling super stressed and out of place.

We kept walking to and fro before we bought some mini cakes and ate them at the void deck HAHAHA damn funny when I think about it.

Dayuuuuum, they tasted good :D

Took bus 81 back home with them :) We were talking about USS, makes me want to go back there again so much.

Friday

Was supposed to got for training but I was feeling really sian and Jingyi was reluctant to go for dance too so we ended up going out with Yiting instead heheh.

Anyway we ended up doing lots of crazy things HAHAHA but it was a fun day :)

Saturday

Had to go to school in the morning for some econs thing, daaaaamn sian because I felt like falling asleep the entire time.

Sooooo, at night, I went to Peizhen's house to sleepover thanks to Mingzhen convincing me over the phone.

All of us were doing things like polishing boots, ironing uniforms, and all the prep for the next day.

And then we all slept in the same room and I was sleeping next to Mingzhen hehe.

Sunday

I think I only slept for less than 3 hours because we had to wake up at 4.30am

Went to hai sing, then they were preparing and stuff and then we went to Ngee Ann Poly.

Then the competition started.

Would love to type more but it's so gay if I describe everything including my emotions.

But anyway, I only went for the people and yea, I'm glad I went because I really, really, really miss them. Oh heck, it was madness, I just felt so useless when they were crying. It's so hard, to see the people you love cry and that you can't do anything at all about it. It's like the tears that they are shedding are contagious.

It was a crazy 24 hours.

Had chinese oral(finally) and yaaaa I think I screwed up.

The examiners were so un-smiley urghhhhhh. But at least it's over.

Just as the lights went off, I know who I dream of

CRAAAAAAZY ASS WEEK. Mainly due to PW and CCA ):

Spent youth day out with PW mates to brush up our GPP, hahaha it was madness, we sat down at the same spot for 7 hours typing away at the screen.

Then we went to have dinner :)

And FLOORBALL, it was damn troublesome because we had to collate the particulars of people from A01 all the way to S27.

Anyway I'm really glad today's almost over. Thursdays are the ultimate nightmare days because we only have 2 half and hour breaks from the start of school until chem STAR program.

It's Sunday, it's Monday, it's bloody everyday.

It has only been a week since school has reopened but I'm already feeling so drained of energy.

Wednesday

Celebrated Leona and Jingyi's birthday on Wed. So the day before, YiTing and I went to get macarons from Bakerzin and then we went present shopping, WE WERE SUPER INDECISIVE haha.

After Chem, we rushed to the canteen and surprised them. It was sooo tough, we had to come up with a lot of lies plus the candles kept blowing out because of the wind.

Did PW afterwards then had some silly econs video thing.

Friday

Had Chem mock practical and I thought I was gonna screw it up but thank goodness Mrs Yap was there to give us guidance.

Seriously, she's one of the best teachers in TPJC. She's always showing concern to us and you can tell she's really dedicated :)

Anyway, right after practical, went to meet Hasbi at TM to watch Despicable Me 2♥.

I WANT A REAL MINION OMG. It can help me do my homework and speak in a weird language to me and just run around my house doing adorable things and when I'm sad I can just look at it and it will just make me break into a smile.

The movie was not bad, but it's predecessor was waaay better. The sequel was cute and funny and all but the first movie was definitely more endearing and heartwarming.

So after the movie, we ended up walking all around because we couldn't decide on a place to chill. And then we finally settled on Starbucks. And then Wendy's.

And then we just talked and goofed around until 6 plus.

Rushed all the way back to Pasir Ris for my maid's farewell celebration held at my grandparents' place.

Oh maan. It sucks, it really sucks. Imagine seeing someone everyday for the past 7 years of your life and then you suddenly had to say goodbye to him/her.

Really thankful that I got the chance to know her. She not only takes care of my family but I enjoy talking to her too. Yeaaaah anyway she had to go back because her father was gravely ill and she wanted to take care of him. Fuck, I'm tearing up as I'm typing this.

We got her a cake and we took loads of Polaroids and some of us were crying. Even my 5-year old cousin broke into tears.

Fucking hate goodbyes. There's never any good in them.

Saturday

This morning, we woke up really early (likearound5.45amwhichisnotthatearlysinceIalwayswakeupatthattimeforschoolbutsinceitisaweekend, itisconsideredreallyearly.) to send my maid to the airport.

Daaaaamn. When we hugged to say goodbye, the tears just went free fall, I couldn't even talk coherently. I just cried like a baby and then I watched her walk into the departure hall and when she waved, I cried even more.

天下没有不散的宴席. God, please give me the strength to carry on.

Anyway the new guy seriously looks like Freddie from Season 3&4, I AM ON THE VERGE OF HYPERVENTILATING.
