2012

3 more days to the end of 2012. Oh, and I'd finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower yesterday! :) Really nice, and the movie had actually done justice to the book. And just came back from a nice outing with Poh, Chu and Channie. Pictures when I'm not feeling lazy.

we won't

Just finished watching Perks of Being A Wallflower on Funshion, I know I'm slow! But that film was so beautiful, so genuine and provocative.
“I don’t know if I will have the time to write any more letters, because I might be too busy trying to participate. So, if this does end up being the last letter, I just want you to know that I was in a bad place before I started high school, and you helped me. Even if you didn’t know what I was talking about, or know someone who’s gone through it, you made me not feel alone. Because I know there are people who say all these things don’t happen. And there are people who forget what it’s like to be sixteen when they turn seventeen. I know these will all be stories some day, and our pictures will become old photographs. We all become somebody’s mom or dad. But right now, these moments are not stories. This is happening. I am here, and I am looking at her. And she is so beautiful. I can see it. This one moment when you know you’re not a sad story. You are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And you’re listening to that song, and that drive with the people who you love most in this world. And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite.” ― Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The film is actually an adaptation of the novel of the same name and I'm thinking of purchasing the book Haven't read in awhile and I kind of miss reading. Y'know, just sit in a comfortable position and get all soaked in into a good book while drinking tea or something. I want a small library in my future house containing shelves of good books and a cosy corner with a small coffee table and matching chairs. My kids will be bookworms and read real books, not some e-book on an iPad or a Kindle!!!!! Goodbye :)

Chink in the armour

Have been really busy with work lately so yea, this is my daily routine:
Wake up
Bathe
Watch some shows
Get prepared
Leave house and take the MRT all the way to Somerset then walk to Takashimaya
Go to the backroom and check in before changing into my uniform
Fold boxes, paste stickers, tie ribbons on boxes, explain to the customers about the cake, take pre orders, handle the cash register,  pack the cakes and cookies into paper bags
Go for my break
Go back to work
Closing
Take the mrt back home
Watch a few more shows
Sleep

And the cycle repeats.

And last night our sales hit damn high and esther was leaving so my boss treated us to ramen and drinks, and the ramen quite ex, like $17 per bowl. Then after that me, chu and esther went to eat dessert and had drinks before we flagged down a cab at 3am to go home.

If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride, then we'd see the day when nobody died. -Nickelback
Sometimes I feel sad for all the wrong reasons, I should just embrace the fact that not all is lost.

Take it back before it all went wrong

Hey, it's 2 in the morning and i can't sleep so just gonna do a quick blog post.
So, prom was over and it was great :D thank goodness I went.
And I've just changed my phone from an iPhone 4 to a Samsung Note 2 and it doesn't disappoint! :) nice big screen with good functions.
Oh yea and I've started working, in fact, tomorrow will be my sixth day at work at Juchhiem, Takashimaya Orchard.
Hehehe work is fun because I have Betty,  Regina and Chuthong as my coworkers :) And the other staff are really nice and funny, it's really comfortable to work there although the pay is quite average. But it's my first job so yeah I wanna do well in it :D
Shall unprivate this site soon ;)
